NEW Farinograph®-AT

SOUTH HACKENSACK, NJ, C.W. Brabender® Instruments, Inc./ -- In 2011 C.W. Brabender® Instruments, Inc. will introduce the NEW Farinograph®-AT to the North American market. The latest iteration of the world-renowned Farinograph® takes this instrument to the next level of technology. The advancements on the NEW Farinograph®-AT center around the automatic water dosing system which eliminates the potential for operator error during the addition of water to the flour in the mixer measuring head. The addition of an integrated 2 liter water tank to the fully redesigned housing of the drive unit give the instrument a new modern look and feel. The water tank is temperature controlled and simple to remove. The Farinograph®-AT now records the temperature of the dosing water in the water tank while also recording the temperature of the dough in the mixing bowl. This new model Farinograph®-AT offers a higher torque range (up to 20 Nm), which is better suited when investigating various speed profiles (up to 200 RPM) and calculating mixing energy for new applications including chocolate, chewing gum, cheese, meat, fish, full formula dough and many more non-standard applications, establishing its place in every food laboratory.
