August 29, 2012 - Exhibiting flexibility in low temperatures, Elastollan® Soft 35A and 45A (phthalate-free plasticized) and Elastollan Soft 60A and 70A (non-plasticized) accommodate applications requiring shock absorption, abrasion resistance, wet slip resistance, and comfort. Each TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) exhibits transparency and is resistant to effects of hydrolysis and chemicals. Typical applications include footwear, door and window profiles, goggles, and electronics.

Alliance Polymers and Services Offers Some of World's Softest TPUs


ROMULUS, MI - What is claimed to be the world's softest TPUs (thermoplastic polyurethane) is now available to North American customers from Alliance Polymers and Services, LLC.  APS is the continent’s leading full-service provider and technical support resource for TPEs and TPUs.

According to company sources, the award winning, the Elastollan® Soft Series is ideally suited for applications calling for excellent shock absorption, high abrasion resistance, slip resistance and comfort, all of which give product manufacturers a greater freedom of design.  Typical applications for these super soft thermoplastic polyurethanes include footwear and particularly occupational shoes, door and window profiles, goggles and electronics, among others.
