June 9, 2004 - Using foldaway penetration probe, pocket-size ebro® TID-220 can measure food temperatures from -65 to +625°F. Operators can also use instrument's infrared feature to obtain distance temperature measurements from -27 through +428°F. Standard features include factory calibration certificate; drill for frozen food penetration; changeable battery, and Min/Max and Hold functions. Users can also select °F or °C temperature ranges.

Measure Temperature Locally or From a Distance

The new ebro® TID-220 thermometer is a pocket-size instrument that provides two choices for measuring temperature: via a foldaway penetration probe or infrared technology for measurements from a distance. It is a perfect for solution for commercial kitchens and restaurants to measure hot foods after preparation or for inspectors monitoring cold temperatures of goods upon receipt.

With the easy-to-use infrared feature, distance temperature measurements from -27° F through 428° F can be safely obtained. But, with the penetration probe, food temperatures from -65° F to 625° F can be measured. The penetration probe attached to the ebro® TID-220 thermometer folds easily into the instrument to protect the user from injury.

A factory calibration certificate; a drill for frozen food penetration; a changeable battery and Min/Max and Hold functions are all standard with the ebro® TID-220. Users can also select °F or °C temperature ranges.
