WARMINSTER, Pa. (May 10, 2005) – EIC Solutions Inc. today introduced a new Thermoelectric solid state air conditioner that boasts the highest capacity available on the market.
The newest addition to the company’s extensive line of thermoelectric cooling systems offers an industry-first 2500 BTU/HR rating.
“The 2500 BTU Thermoelectric Air Conditioner, which is manufactured entirely at our Warminster facility, was developed to cool large electronics packages,” said Bruce Blackway, EIC Solutions President and General Manager. “Like our other models, the 2500 BTU unit has no compressor, refrigerants or filters and provides reliable, maintenance-free cooling in indoor and outdoor applications.
The EIC 2500 BTU Thermoelectric Air Conditioner is constructed to NEMA 4X standards and is suitable for use in operating environments up to 140 degrees F. The flush-mount design eliminates protrusion into the enclosure and it features a built-in adjustable electronic thermostat, high-performance nickel-plated heat sinks and an integral condensate drip pan. The 30” (h) X 12” (w) X 10” (d) unit weighs 140 pounds, and its patented design includes stainless steel covers and mounting flange, mounting fasteners and a neoprene mounting gasket. The 2500 BTU thermoelectric model is constructed to UL/CSA Standards and is available in 120VAC or 220VAC power with an integral power supply and nine-foot power cord. EIC Solutions also provides a comprehensive one-year warranty with the product.

Solution for small Tear Drop Campers
I really think this company should explore R&D for a unit that will work in small spaced Teardrop Camping Trailers, they have needed a good solution for air conditioning for years, the only viable solution so far has been a 2500 BTU dog house air conditioner. Typicall refegerant window units are too powerful for such a small space. If they don't look into this, they are missing a great opportunity!
