Dependent upon size selected, resistance tolerances of ±3%, ±5%, ±10%, and ±15% are offered. Power rating of 5 mW is standard with beta constants of 3200 K, 3500 K, 3700 K, 3800 K, and 4100 K. Thermistor has operating temperature of -55 to +125°C and is suitable for reflow and wave soldering.

Negative Tempco Thermistors from KOA Speer
Bradford, PA - January 15, 2003 - KOA Speer Electronics introduces its NT73 negative tempco thermistor for use in circuit protection applications. These thermistor components are mechanically strong and feature a low profile as compared to ceramic circuit protection components. NT73 thermistors are also lower in cost versus thick film components.
KOA Speer thermistors feature anti-leaching nickel barrier terminations (90/10 solder plated, standard) and twelve standard resistance values from 1.0kohm through 150kohm. Sizes 0603, 0805 and 1206 are available. Dependent upon which size is selected, resistance tolerances of ±3%, ±5%, +10% and ±15% are offered. A power rating of 5mW is standard with beta constants of 3200K, 3500K, 3700K, 3800K and 4100K (@ 25°C/75°C). NT73 thermistors have an operating temperature range of -55°C to +125°C and are suitable for reflow and wave soldering.
Applications for NT73 thermistors include circuit protection, temperature compensation, temperature measurement, fire detection devices, portable temperature gauges and in-rush current limiting. This product serves the automotive, computer, consumer, telecommunications, appliance and industrial markets.
