GERMANTOWN, WI – Printing 100 terminal block markers in 10.7 seconds, WAGO Corporation’s new Thermal Transfer smartPRINTER expedites marking. Within 15.5 seconds, markers for 25 terminal blocks can be printed and installed. An all-in-one solution, smartPRINTER marks: WMB markers, exclusive Continuous Marking Strips, wire/cable markers, push-button plates and adhesive labels. In addition, WAGO-Exclusive Multi-Line Marking creates up to three lines of text per terminal block for greater wiring accuracy.

Panel- and Machine-Ready:
Ethernet-ready smartPRINTER is tightly integrated with WAGO’s free ProServeŽ Design and Engineering software. This provides markings for virtually all of WAGO’s 25,000+ automation, electronic interface, and electrical interconnect products. Markings are highly legible, have no drying time and are both wipe- and scratch-proof (per DIN EN 60068). A value-driven device, smartPRINTER does not require costly support plates for different marking materials — print directly on continuous tag- or label-style reels. Just 4.4 pounds and 6.9’’ long, smartPRINTER is easy to transport and fits on most worktables or desktops.

Reduce Marking Time by 50%:
smartPRINTER is compatible with WAGO’s exclusive Continuous Marking Strips to reduce marking time by 50% compared to traditional marker cards. Highly efficient, one continuous marking strip reel  marks up to 9,615 terminal block labels — eliminating repetitive marker card installation/removal and marking tag separation, as well as waste.

WAGO is the leader in spring pressure connection technology that eliminates loose wires resulting from vibration and temperature cycling, while providing highly reliable, corrosion-resistant and maintenance-free connections. Products: DIN-rail, PCB and chassis mount terminal blocks; signal conditioners; the WAGO-I/O-SYSTEM and more.
