February 21, 2012 - Designed for item level tracking and traceability applications, SATO CL4e HF RFID printers accommodate labeling needs of libraries, hospitals, pharmacies, and entertainment venues. Thermal transfer and direct thermal printers enable use of HF RFID tags for product authentication and asset tracking by producing labels with 13.56 MHz High Frequency (HF) RFID tag inlays, such as I-Code and Tag-IT. Print speeds range up to 6 ips, and various plug-in interface cards and options are available.

SATO Updates CL4e HF RFID Printer Offering


High performance label printing solution using High Frequency RFID inlays

CHARLOTTE, NC - SATO, a leader in barcode printing, labeling, and EPC/RFID solutions, announced today an expansion of its CL4e HF RFID Series industrial tabletop printer offering enhancing the product line to accommodate customer's emerging applications. Designed and built especially for item level tracking and traceability applications, the SATO CL4e HF RFID printer solution is ideal for labeling in libraries, hospitals, pharmacies and entertainment venues.

With print speeds up to 6 ips (inches per second), a variety of plug-in interface cards including Parallel, RS-232C (Serial), USB, LAN and WLAN, along with optional cutter or dispenser media handling capabilities making the SATO CL4e with built in HF encoding capabilities the right choice for its industrial durability, easy operation and simple integration for HF RFID applications.
