Thermal Conductivity Meter takes measurments within 60 sec.
August 30, 2004 - Utilizing hot wire technique, Quick Thermal Conductivity Meter 500 (QTM-500) measures various sample types when user places probe on surface and presses start key; simplified operation helps reduce operator error. Unit can be used with standard probe or damp-proof probe, which measures hydrous or electrically conductive materials. It can also measure thermal conductivity of sheets, boards, tapes, and paper.

Quick Thermal Conductivity Meter
The Quick Thermal Conductivity Meter 500 by KEM can test your samples quickly and accurately, while reducing operator error.
The QTM-500 can perform quick measurements of a variety of sample types, by placing the sensor probe on the sample surface and pressing the start key. Within 60 seconds the results are given.
The QTM-500 can be used with a standard probe or with a damp-proof probe that can measure hydrous or electrically conductive materials such as foods or crude concrete. Thermal conductivity of sheets, boards, tapes, or paper can also be measured using this technique.
The QTM-500 utilizes the hot wire technique, the most direct and effective measurement technique known for measuring thermal conductivity.
