OptiTex Introduces Fabric Testing Utility
Device augments leading system's 3D presentation while saving customers thousands
Petach Tikva, Israel - July 01, 2009 - OptiTex, the leader in 3D CAD software for all cut-fabric industries, is about to release its Fabric Testing Utility (FTU). The FTU was designed to further advance the OptiTex system's vibrant ability to recreate the dynamics of fabric movement on fully adjustable, lifelike virtual mannequins.

OptiTex's FTU is a lightweight, briefcase-sized device that accurately measures the four principal types of fabric strain: bend, stretch, shear and friction. The machine has an automated repeat function to validate the measurements.
