LeCroy's Easy to Setup, Easy to Use Compliance Solution Automates USB 2.0 Testing
Chestnut Ridge, NY, October 10, 2007: LeCroy Corporation, a leading supplier of oscilloscopes and serial data test solutions, announces the launch of a new USB 2.0 compliance test solution consisting of compliance software and an updated test fixture. Fully integrated into the QualiPHY compliance test framework, LeCroy's solution offers automated control of the oscilloscope, connection diagrams to ensure that correct connections are made the first time, and easily exportable documentation for all oscilloscope and digital multimeter tests.
Often times setting up a test is more difficult than running the test. With QualiPHY, users identify the IP address of the oscilloscope, select the compliance tests to run, and hit "Start". After that, QualiPHY leads the user through all of the USB 2.0 compliance tests with easy to understand diagrams showing the proper setup for each test. Once all the tests are complete, documenting results is easy with test reports available in PDF, HTML or XML formats.
LeCroy's new TF-USB-B test fixture measures the signal quality of USB solutions without the use of a probe-eliminating the affects of probe loading, and significantly decreasing setup time. It provides scripts for High-speed, Full-speed, and Low-speed compliance testing for devices, hosts, and hubs.
LeCroy's USB 2.0 compliance software is available for use on LeCroy's WaveRunner, WavePro, WaveMaster, SDA and DDA oscilloscope products.
