Measuring .20 x 3.75 x 2.08 in., hybrid, dual-level Model IDK 1.5N/ZB offers both insulation displacement connection and screw clamp connection. Externally tensioned IDC termination technology and yellow wire guide offer visual indication of correctly terminated conductor. With wire range of 24-16 AWG for IDC termination, and 26-12 AWG for screw clamp termination, unit is suited for industrial and control applications. It UL rated at 600 V, 10 A, and 22-16 AWG.

New Weidmuller Terminal Block Provides Two Connection Technologies in One Compact Dual Level Design
RICHMOND, VA (January 30, 2006) - Weidmuller's new hybrid dual level terminal block provides two separate channels that offer two distinct termination technologies in one compact footprint - a timesaving insulation displacement connection (IDC) and the proven screw clamp connection. This unique design provides OEMs a reduction in production labor through the use of the IDC termination, while offering end users the screw clamp connection they are more accustomed to for field terminations.
Weidmuller's hybrid dual level terminal, the IDK 1.5N/ZB, provides the best possible contact safety and reliability. The externally tensioned IDC termination technology and yellow wire guide offer visual indication of a correctly terminated conductor. In addition, wiring times are reduced by as much as 76%, when compared to screw clamp technology, because there is no need to strip or crimp wires before insertion.
With a wire size range of 24 to 16 AWG for the IDC termination, and 26 to 12 AWG for the screw clamp termination, the IDK 1.5N/ZB hybrid terminal is suitable for a wide range of industrial and control applications. It is UL rated at 600V, 10A, and 22 to 16AWG. The overall dimensions are 0.20"W x 3.75"L x 2.08"H (5.1mm X 95.3 mm X 52.8 mm).
