August 19, 2011 - Suited for OEM applications where detection of cold/high temperature limits is required, Series 11 senses temperatures from freezing to 90°C, in 16 narrow, differential preset trip points. Because they have no built-in differential, switches are creep mechanisms characterized by slow make/slow break and rapid cycling capability. Each consists of bi-metallic sensing mechanism packaged in corrosion-resistant plastic sheath, which incorporates hex section, sensing section, and 1/8 NPT thread.

Compac Engineering Debuts New Series 11 Temperature Switches

PARADISE, Calif., -- Compac Engineering Inc., a leading temperature, liquid level, and flow sensor manufacturer, is pleased to announce they have released an all new product group: the Series 11 group of temperature switches.

The new Series 11 temperature switches are low cost, slow response sensor switches that are incredibly useful for OEM applications where the detection of cold or high temperature limits is required. These temperature switches can sense temperatures ranging from freezing to 90 degrees Celsius, in sixteen narrow, differential preset trip points. Because they have no built-in differential, the Series 11 temperature switches are creep mechanisms characterized by slow make/slow break and rapid cycling capability. They are ideal for both limit and control applications.

Each Series 11 temperature switch is a bi-metallic sensing mechanism packaged in a corrosion-resistant plastic sheath which incorporates a hex section, sensing section, and 1/8 NPT threat for mounting purposes. They are able to mate with a large variety of Compac ERECTA SWITCH components, so they can satisfy nearly any mounting requirement.

The Series 11 group of temperature switches features affordable thermostats packaged for use in either gas or liquid. When combined with other level sensors and switches, wiring receptacles, relay housings, and flow sensors from Compac, the Series 11 temperature switches offer many efficient, low-cost solutions to otherwise complex control problems.

The new Series 11 temperature switches are unmatched in the aforementioned limitations. No other temperature switch on the market offers so much for so little money. Additionally, each switch is 100% tested by Compac to assure the highest quality and performance.

Normally open and normally closed versions of the Series 11 temperature switches are available. Normally open is designated as type "CR" and closes its contacts on rising temperature. Normally closed is designated as type "C" and opens its contacts on rising temperature.
