Supplied with AMP, Deutsch, and Delphi plugs as standard, MBT 3270 helps keep exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) systems in engines under control for compliance with Tier regulations. It employs accurate sensor element (Pt100 or NTC) and operates in temperatures to 572°F. Offering accelerated response to temperature changes, sensor is built to stand up to aggressive atmospheres in exhaust gas and exhibits minimal impact on measurement from ambient temperature.

Mixing intake air with exhaust gas in order to cool down the combustion process by several hundred degrees requires accurate measuring of the media. Danfoss' MBT 3270 is optimized to efficiently meet the strict requirements of EGR applications, resulting in a reduction of NOx in the exhaust gas.
