Accurate Response in No Time...............

Offering accurate measuring and fast response time, Danfoss the global Danish engineering company, has developed a temperature sensor, MBT 3270 perfect for keeping exhaust gas recirculation systems (EGR) in engines under control - and you keep your product aligned with the latest Tier* regulations.

Mixing intake air with exhaust gas in order to cool down the combustion process by several hundred degrees requires accurate measuring of the media. Danfoss' MBT 3270 is optimized to efficiently meet the strict requirements of EGR applications, resulting in a reduction of NOx in the exhaust gas.

MBT 3270 features
  • Very fast response to temperature changes
  • Materials designed to withstand the aggressive atmospheres in the exhaust gas
  • Flawless performance in temperatures of up to 300° C (572° F)
  • Accurate sensor element (Pt100 or NTC)
  • Very low impact on the measurement from the ambient temperature
  • AMP, Deutsch and Delphi plugs as standard.

The EGR sensor is part of the broad OEM temperature programme offered by Danfoss.

The Danfoss temperature sensors MBT 3270 Series will be showcased at BAUMA 2010 (19 - 25 April), Munich, Germany in Hall B4, stand no. 405/506 and at Sensor + Test (18 - 20 May), Nuremberg, Germany in Hall 12, stand no. 664 - come and check out your possibilities for a lower bottom line with Danfoss components.
