ValuTemp Temperature Logger Lowers the Cost Of High Accuracy

FULLERTON, CA – SEPTEMBER 2003 – Telatemp Corporation has introduced ValuTemp, a precise, low-cost data logger that can record up to 8,192 time-stamped temperature measurements from -55°C to +125°C with a 0.1°C resolution, and ±0.5°C or better accuracy. Reusable and available with NIST traceable certification, the $49.00 logger is ideal for monitoring temperature during transit or storage.

Meeting the critical requirements of industries such as pharmaceuticals, ValuTemp's green "run" lamp flashes continuously while running, and high and low programmable alarms flash red when exposed to temperatures beyond alarm settings. The small 3.5" x 1.8" x .65" logger offers a two-point adjustable calibration and a push button start and stop functional option for data set size control, allowing one start and one stop per run.

With reading options in °C, °F, °K, or °R, ValuTemp provides up to 8,192 temperature samples per run at a programmable rate of every 5 seconds or 1-5, 10, 15, 30 minutes, or 1-4 hours per reading. Data is displayed on a graph with zoom capabilities or data table, exportable for use in spreadsheets and other documentation. A composite graph option compares multiple loggers vs. time.

Complete with a comprehensive help file, the Telatemp ValuTemp operates on a lithium coin cell battery and uses the Telatemp MLSP support package for programming and downloading the data.

Telatemp Corporation is a supplier of transit, storage and process temperature sensing devices for applications including: pharmaceuticals, clinical specimens, biologicals, perishables, film, electronics, computers, medical devices, textiles, foods and industrial products.
