November 9, 2005 - With temperature range to 550°F, Series TDH-6 offers pumping rates of 90, 150, or 200 gpm; 50-200 kW heater; and heat exchangers from 3.9-21 sq ft. Standard ¼ DIN controls feature NEMA 12 electrical control enclosure, pressure-actuated bypass valve, PID control for heating and cooling, 4 line x 20 character LCD display, as well as setpoint, To Process, From Process, and DT displays. Mechanical seal pump, autovent, auto shutdown, and manual bypass are optional.

AEC's TDH-6 Provides Precise Temperature Control


Wood Dale, IL-The TDH-6, AEC's newest addition to temperature control, offers a carefully designed and balanced control system that assures sensitivity and instantaneous reaction to temperature changes. Several combinations of heater sizes and pumping rates are available, and cooling controls are optional.

AEC's TDH-6 offers simple and easy to use operation and is ready to operate when power and circulation connections are made. TDH-6 temperature controllers comes standard with pumping rates of 90, 150 or 200 gpm; 50 to 200 kW heater size; heat exchangers from 3.9 sq. ft. to 21 sq. ft.; and a temperature range up to 550°F.

The standard unit, equipped with the E5AK, ¼ DIN control, is available with several options that include: mechanical seal pump, autovent, auto shutdown, manual bypass, shell and tube heat exchanger and the advanced controller package. The advanced controller features a PID control for both heating and cooling, a 4 line x 20 character LCD display screen, setpoint, To Process, From Process and DT displays, start, stop, vent and alarm silence switches and a triac output for both heating and cooling.

Additional standard features include a NEMA 12-style electrical control enclosure with IEC electrical components, disconnect switch, pressure-actuated bypass valve, a system status graphics display and a To Process oil pressure gauge.
