Unique design of Altanium® CM opens door for tight integration Moorpark, CA; Birmingham, UK- Wednesday, October 2, 2002 - American MSI today announced the Altanium® CM, a compact, mold mounted hot runner temperature control system that can regulate from 6 to 12 zones. Mounted directly on the mold junction-box, Altanium® CM eliminates the need for expensive power and thermocouple cables. With a width of 9.5", a height of 9.7" and a depth of 6.25", the new Altanium®' CM can fit snug on any hot runner mold system, leaving plenty of space for robots, optronics and hoses. A transverse latching mechanism assures that the Altanium® CM remains securely in place.
