Using multi-channel artificial lipid membrane sensors, Model TS-5000Z imitates taste reception of food goods and pharmaceuticals and interprets them as numerical data. Quantification of taste data is handled via original algorithms and can be displayed in various ways through array of graphing tools. In addition to evaluation of initial taste, instrument also measures aftertaste, including richness, sharpness, bitterness, and astringency.
