InRob Unveils Remote Controlled Target Practice System

LAS VEGAS, Feb. 14 -- InRob Tech Ltd. ("InRob") (BULLETIN BOARD: IRBL) a leader in advanced wireless control systems for unmanned ground vehicles (UGV), today announced an upgrade to its remote controlled target practice system.

The system operates on a railway car fitted with a target and operated by wireless remote control. The operator, who can be sitting several kilometers away, can easily move the target using a keyboard or joystick. This system is designed to add greater realism to live-fire moving target practice which is an important element in combat training for tanks, missiles, and other weapon systems.

"This remote controlled moving target is another example of InRob's custom-designed systems", says Nissim Lavi, InRob's General Manager. "Military forces are constantly looking for new ways to increase realism in training, without compromising on safety. This system meets that need and we are seeing interest in this product from armed forces around the world, after a successful sale to Israel Military Industries Ltd (IMI), one of the country's leading defense contractors. We continue to develop and enhance new applications such as this, which build on our expertise in remote control systems."
