June 9, 2004 - Targeted for use in reaming, tapping, and drilling operations, ROCOL™ TRI-Logic RTD consists of viscous fluid containing pressure additives. Product reduces friction, adding to cutting performance and is suitable for all metals, including hardened steels, titaniums, and stainless steels. Designed to emulsify in water, Tri-Logic RTD fortifies pressure cutting properties and enhances tool surface finish. Residue removes using aqueous cleaning agents.

Rocol™ TRI-Logic RTD A Powerful Tapping Fluid that also Fortifies Cutting Fluids

Glenview, IL – June 2, 2004 – ITW ROCOLTM NORTH AMERICA is launching, in the United States, ROCOL TRI-Logic RTD , a tapping fluid for the most demanding Reaming, Tapping, Drilling operations.

TRI-Logic RTD is a viscous fluid containing extreme pressure additives that fortifies cutting fluid and help metalworking manufacturers improve efficiency and cut costs. This product significantly reduces friction giving superb cutting performance. TRI-Logic RTD is suitable for all metals including hardened steels, titaniums and stainless steels.

Tri-logic RTD has been designed to emulsify in water, providing two benefits:

-After use, Tri-Logic RTD will emulsify into the water mix cutting fluid, fortifying the extreme pressure cutting properties and enhancing tool life and surface finish.

-Any residue of Tri-Logic RTD on workpieces is easily removed using aqueous cleaning agents.

TRI-Logic RTD can also be added to neat cutting oil for the most severe operations, such as broaching and gear cutting on the toughest metals.
