April 18, 2005 - Designed for use in trial and development stage of new product development, 102i is capable of running single- , bi-, or triple-layer tablets as well as core tablets. It offers direct scale-up capabilities with 1, 3, or 4 punches as well as interchangeable die tables with 6–12 stations, combined B and D table, or full die table. Included R&D Galenic software package tests compacting abilities of substances and analyzes and evaluates pressing procedures.

Fette Introduces New R&D Tablet Press at Interphex 2005

102i features fully automated operation plus special Galenic software package for testing and analysis

ROCKAWAY, NJ – Fette, a leading manufacturer and supplier of tablet presses for both pharmaceutical and industrial applications, will debut its new 102i tablet press at Booth #1221 at Interphex 2005, April 26-28, at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, New York City. According to Rich Derickson, Vice President of Sales & Operations for Fette America, the 102i was specifically designed for use in the trial and development stage of new product development .

“With fully automated operation and direct scale-up capabilities, the 102i tablet press combines an affordable price with features that make it the perfect choice for typically small R&D runs,” Mr. Derickson said.

Available with special R&D Galenic software that simplifies the testing of the compacting abilities of the actual substances as well as the analysis and evaluation of pressing procedures, the Fette 102i offers direct scale-up with 1, 3, or 4 punches; and interchangeable die tables available with 6 to 12 stations, a combined B and D table, or a full die table. Additionally, the 102i is capable of running single layer, bi-layer or triple layer tablets and tablet-in-a-tablet (core tablets).
