Displaytech Introduces New TFT Products With Focus on Custom and Integration
CARLSBAD, CA DECEMBER 1, 2006: Displaytech, Ltd. of Hong Kong announces the addition of new TFT display modules to complement its existing product line of passive monochrome LCD's. Three initial sizes will be 1.8", 2.0", and 3.5", and will include LED backlights. In designing these products, Displaytech utilized its in-house expertise in plastics and backlighting to create a design that could be easily modified to accommodate the specific mounting needs of the user.
Displaytech, a long time leader in supplying custom and value added LCD products can integrate these TFT displays into customers' end products such as building the display onto a larger circuit board which incorporates additional circuitry, adding switches and keypads, and supplying a full or turnkey product including plastic housing. Pricing in quantities of 1000 starts at $16.50 each for the 1.8" model.
