(Optimized Real Time Enterprise Network Monitoring Platform)
IRVINE, Calif., May 22 /-- Today, ThinkCP(TM) announced the rollout of the ThinkTankQ(TM) ORTEN-MP (Optimized Real Time Enterprise Network Monitoring Platform) featuring integrated InterMapper(R) 5.0 Real-Time Network Mapping Software developed by Dartware, LLC. The 2U, AMD Opteron(R) Processor based core system is designed to scale-up based on the individual customer's immediate and future requirements.
The integrated InterMapper 5.0 software, which supports both IPv4 and IPv6, enables customers to monitor networks in real-time, 30-second or faster user-defined intervals from a top-down, geographical mapping perspective. A zoom perspective enables network administrators to zero in on network problems down to each individual network device. The ThinkTankQ ORTEN-MP enables system and network administrators to deliver consistently high quality of service via network troubleshooting, network expansion planning and permanent documentation of network activity. The system may assist network administrators in identifying, documenting and mitigating security breaches or denial-of-service attacks as they first occur. Administrators can integrate the software via DASH central console management and permanently capture network activity in a SQL database. The ORTEN-MP optionally supports remote management via InterMapper Remote Access(TM) and mapping of wireless devices via Wireless Probe Pack. The ORTEN-MP provides native support for Windows, Linux, Sun Solaris, MacOS X and Unix which must be specified and ordered prior to integration.
The ORTEN-MP Core platform consists of a 2U enclosure, supporting between 1 to 4 Multi-Core AMD(R) Opteron processors (from 2 to 16 CPU Cores), up to 128GB of memory, up to 6 Terabytes of SATA2 storage via 6 hot-swappable drive bays, redundant power supplies, and 2 Gig-E Ports with the option of adding Neterion XFrame(R) Series V-NIC(TM) 10GbE Adapters. ThinkCP Account Managers will assist in customizing the hardware platform based on each customer's intended applications. Other core platforms may be utilized on a case-by-case basis. On-site installation, training and warranty programs are optional. Federal customers and resellers may also add "Keep Your Broken Hard Drive" and advance exchange warranties as required.
