System provides consistent hepatocyte cell isolation.January 19, 2009 -
Worthington Hepatocyte Isolation System includes single-use enzyme vials, balanced salt solution, buffer, culture media, and protocol for 5 separate adult rat liver perfusions. By using pre-optimized combination of enzymes contained in kit, it is possible to minimize lot-to-lot variations and optimize quality of isolated hepatocytes. Modified protocol for mouse applications is also available.

New Hepatocyte Isolation System
Optimized and Functionally Tested Enzyme System For Hepatocyte Isolation
The NEW Worthington Hepatocyte Isolation System has been developed to provide researchers with a reliable, convenient, and consistent hepatocyte cell isolation system.
By using the pre-optimized combination of enzymes contained in this kit, it is possible to minimize the lot-to-lot variation and improve the quality of the isolated hepatocytes.
In addition, Worthington use-tests each lot by isolating hepatocytes from adult rats to assure performance, reliability, and consistent yield of viable cells.
Each kit includes single-use enzyme vials, balanced salt solution, buffer, culture media and an optimized protocol for five separate adult rat liver perfusions. A modified protocol for mouse applications is also available.
The method is based on that described by Berry, M.N., modified by Seglen, P.O., and further optimized in conjunction with several collaborating researchers.
Information on the Worthington Hepatocyte Isolation System is available on-line at http://www.worthington-biochem.com/HIS/cat.html, E-mail CustService@worthington-biochem.com or call: 800.445.9603 732.942.1660 or Fax: 732-942-9270 today to request a copy!
