FAIRFAX, VA, July 7, 2004 - ExxonMobil today announced that it will begin offering to the U.S. market its popular Mobil Rarus SHC1025 -- a fully-synthetic oil designed for use in severe duty rotary screw and vane air compressors.
Widely used in Asia, Europe and Latin America, Mobil Rarus SHC 1025 is a high-performance ISO viscosity grade 46 lubricant -- a viscosity grade commonly recommended by major air compressor manufacturers.
Formulated with advanced additive technology and wax-free synthetic hydrocarbon fluids, Mobil Rarus SHC 1025 delivers exceptional resistance to oxidation and thermal degradation, helping to reduce sludge formation, varnish deposits and wear on compressor components.
