February 1, 2005 - Composed of perfluoro polyether, NSF-H1 approved Molykote® HP-300 and HP-500 are stable in presence of chemicals, and insoluble in solvents and oils, with exception of fluorinated solvents. With temperature range of -65 to 250°C, greases are noncombustible with no danger of ignition. Due to chemically inert base, they have virtually no effect on plastics and rubbers. Applications include bearings, gears, chains, and sliding mechanisms in harsh conditions.

Molykote(r) Ultra-High Performance Specialty Greases Designed for Harsh Environments
MIDLAND, Mich. - January 19, 2005 - Molykote(r) HP-300 and HP-500 ultra-high performance specialty greases are designed to lubricate bearings, gears, chains and sliding mechanisms in harsh conditions such as corrosives, solvents, liquefied nitrogen, liquefied natural gas, high loads and high temperatures. They are also NSF-H1 approved as nonfood compounds.
Composed of perfluoro polyether, a highly chemically stable synthetic oil, Molykote HP-300 and HP-500 greases are exceptionally stable in the presence of chemicals, and insoluble in solvents and oils, with the exception of fluorinated solvents. They have a wide temperature range of -65° to 250°C.
In addition, the greases are exceptionally resistant to high loads compared to other synthetic oil-based greases and are noncombustible, with no danger of ignition. Due to their chemically inert base, they have virtually no effect on plastics and rubbers.Molykote HP-300 grease is available in 100 and 500 gram pails and 180 milliliter spray. Molykote HP-500 grease is available in 100 and 500 gram pails.
