Measuring 19.6 x 15.6 x 15.6 mm, Model G5LA offers switching capacity of 10 A at 250 Vac/24 Vdc and 5 A at 250 Vac/24 Vdc on NO and NC contacts, respectively. With CTI of greater than or equal to 250, it conforms to VDE0435, UL508, and CSA 22.2 standards. Model G5LA-CF comes with Class F coil insulation and UL/CSA approved ambient operating temperature range of -40 to +85°C. Nominal coil power consumption is 360 mW for 5, 9, 12, and 24 Vdc coils and 480 mW for 48 Vdc coil.

Economical Industry Standard Relay for HVAC and Home Appliances
October 2007 -- Schaumburg, IL USA -- Omron Electronic Components LLC announces the
availability of the G5LA relay which is a cost effective alternative to their industry standard G5LE product line. Although cost economy was a crucial design target, the G5LA still offers a switching capacity of 10A @ 250 VAC/24 VDC on the normally open contacts and 5A @ 250 VAC / 24 VDC on the normally closed contacts. Furthermore, engineers can still expect to achieve an Electrical Life of 100,000 operations at those rated loads.
Measuring 19.6mm x 15.6mm x 15.6mm (l x w h), the G5LA offers a lower profile package,
while maintaining the industry standard PCB layout that was made popular by the G5LE.
Having a Comparative Tracking Index (CTI) >= 250, the G5LA relay conforms to VDE0435,
UL508, and CSA 22.2 standards.
These relays are ideal for use in applications within the Security, Consumer/Commercial, HVAC and Appliance markets. The G5LA-CF models are offered with Class F coil insulation and a UL / CSA approved ambient operating temperature range of -40 °C to +85 °C, for use in products where internal or external heating is a factor.
The nominal coil power consumption is 360mW for the 5, 9, 12 and 24 VDC coils. The
consumption is 480mW for the 48 VDC coil. All models are RoHS compliant.
MSRP for the G5LA relays range from $0.85 to $1.25 each. Delivery is stock to 10 weeks.
