May 27, 2009 - Designed to be convection cooled, 300 W medical grade open frame power supply MPM-U300 features low leakage current, below 150 µA under 264 Vac at 63 Hz. Measuring 198 x 97 x 41 mm, RoHS compliant product has operating range from 0-50°C. IEC/EN 60601-1 3rd edition medical safety regulation compliant unit provides remote voltage sensing, as well as short-circuit and over-voltage protection.

Ultra Compact 300-Watt Medical Grade Open Frame AC/DC Switching Power Supply (P/N: MPM-U300 Series)


Sunnyvale, California - May 5, 2009 - Magic Power Technology Inc. introduces the new 300-watt medical grade open frame single-voltage MPM-U300 power supply. The MPM-U300 is designed to be convection cooled, is RoHS compliant, and fits within 1U height constraints.

Key features are ultra low leakage current, below 150 micro amperes under 264VAC at 63 Hz, high efficiency up to 92% and designed for direct patient contact (BF) medical equipments, terminal block design for both input and output, and optional top cover.

The MPM-U300 is compliant with IEC/EN 60601-1 3rd edition medical safety regulation, and provide remote voltage sensing, short-circuit and over voltage protection. This MPM-U300 offers competitive densities, 198(L) x 97(W) x 41(H) mm, without performance degradation from 0 to 50°C.

The modular design of this medical grade power supply allows for the development of option modules for additional outputs, redundancy and UPS functionalities. Samples of MPM-U300 are available now.
