Manual traveling vertical panel saw, STRIEBIG Evolution, includes automatic features such as auto-locking of saw beam and panel support rollers. From color display panel, operator can pivot, plunge, and lock saw head; engage optional adjustable split-blade scoring saw; and set dimension of optional EPS.X programmable stop. Digital measuring with fine adjustment in both axes is standard, and auto-shifting, full-wood backing grid can support thin materials and small parts.

Kingston, MA - Colonial Saw is the proud to announce the addition of a new Swiss-made STRIEBIG Evolution-the ultimate manual traveling vertical panel saw-to its product offerings. The EVOLUTION includes many automatic features, such as auto-locking of the saw beam and panel support rollers. From the new touch-screen color display panel the operator can pivot, plunge and lock the saw head, engage the optional adjustable split-blade scoring saw, and also set the dimension of the optional EPS.X programmable stop. The screen will also display faults and provide easy trouble-shooting assistance. Digital measuring with fine adjustment in both axes is standard, as is the auto-shifting, full-wood backing grid, which can support thin materials and small parts. The Evolution also has a new laser light guide for the horizontal cut line, and externally produced cut lists can be uploaded via a new USB port.
