Extensive independent testing validates an improvement in the Maximum Impulse Current of Raycap's advanced surge protection product line.

The Strikesorb 40 SPD products are engineered to protect vulnerable electronic equipment against electrical damage caused by overvoltage events and lightning strikes. The Maximum Impulse Current specification that the SPDs can withstand has been increased to 12.5kA (10/350 Ás) direct lightning, per the IEC 61643-1:2005 standard.
