September 4, 2014 - With die cast aluminum housing that facilitates mounting to walls or ceilings, 10 in. GL-DL10-SM offers 83–91 lm/W efficiency, 110° beam angle, 30,000 hr rated life, and worldwide voltage compatibility (100–240 Vac). Warm White (3000K, 1,950 lm), Neutral White (4000K, 2,000 lm), and Cool White (5700K, 2,150 lm) versions all have 80 CRI and draw 23.5 W. LED driver features 0.98 power factor at 120 Vac or 0.90 at 240 Vac, and one-piece, self-contained design facilitates installation.

Energy efficient room lighting can be easily mounted to walls and ceilings

Taipei, Taiwan – GlacialLight, a division of the Taiwanese technology manufacturer GlacialTech Inc., is introducing an energy-efficient 10" Surface Mounted Down Light - GL-DL10-SM to its indoor lighting product lineup. This 10" Down Light features a sturdy yet light die cast aluminum housing which is easily mounted to walls or ceilings. With up to 91 lumens per watt and a 110 degree beam angle, bright yet energy efficient indoor lighting is easily available with the GL-DL10-SM.

Lighting That Works
A large 10" diameter and 110 degree beam angle means the GL-DL10-SM casts a wide beam to easily illuminate indoor spaces with a minimum number of units. Illumination is never weak with the bundled ultra-efficient LED driver featuring 0.98 power factor at 120V AC or 0.90 power factor at 240V AC. With efficient lighting that works, customers can enjoy lower up front and running costs to light up the same space.

Easy Installation
Installing LED lighting is no longer a hassle with the GL-DL10-SM. Featuring a simple one piece, self contained design, the GL-DL10-SM housing is made out of die-cast aluminum, a light and sturdy material. The GL-DL10-SM can be mounted to almost any wall, ceiling or surface easily, unlike the hassle of recessed lighting. With worldwide voltage compatibility from 100-240V AC, customers around the world can conveniently enjoy LED lighting with the GL-DL10-SM.

Customization Options
As with all GlacialLight down lights, the GL-DL10-SM comes in either Warm White (3000K), Neutral White (4000K), or Cool White (5700K) color temperatures all with a Color Rendering Index (CRI) of 80. Besides the surface mount option, the GL-DL10-SM can also be ordered with an optional rod mount to extend the lighting source further from the ceiling.
