November 15, 2005 - Offering both flush tactile surface and extended surface, momentary SPST Series CS1204 provides electrical life of 100,000 cycles using silver-plated stainless steel contacts. Cover is stainless steel and terminals are silver-plated phosphor bronze. Units are available with actuator heights of 0.8 or 1.5 mm and force options of 160 and 260 gF. Housed in 5.25 x 5.25 mm package, switches are rated 50 mA at 48 Vdc and operate from -40 to 85°C.

CIT RELAY & SWITCH CS1204 Ultra-Low Profile RoHS Compliant Surface Mount Tactile Switch


Maple Grove, Minnesota - CIT RELAY & SWITCH introduces the CS1204 Series momentary SPST surface mount ultra-low profile 0.8mm & 1.5mm actuator height tactile switch. This newest addition to the CIT relay line offers both a flush tactile surface and an extended surface. Designed with an electrical life of 100,000 cycles using silver-plated, stainless steel contacts, the SPST CS1204 series has an operating temperature ranging from -40°C to 85°C. Available with actuation force options of 160gF and 260gF.

Overall switch dimensions are in a compact, space-saving package of 5.25mm x 5.25mm. Switch electrical ratings are 50mA @ 48VDC. All switches in the CS1204 series offer a stainless steel cover, silver-plated stainless steel contacts and silver-plated phosphor bronze terminals.
