August 26, 2008 - Measuring 1.6 x 0.8 x 0.25 mm, Kingbright 0.25 mm Ultra-Thin 0603 SMD LEDs (APG1608 package) offer viewing angle of 120° and operate using current as low as 1 mA. Blue (470 nm), green (525 and 571 nm), yellow (589 nm), orange (605 nm), and red (631 nm) versions are available, each meeting industrial temperature rating of -40 to +85°C. Designed for automatic pick-and-place mounting process, package provides zener diode option to withstand ESD voltage up to 8,000 V.

The element's compact, ultra-thin design (1.6mm x 0.8mm x 0.25mm) with wide viewing angle of 120° extends significant advantages for backlighting, indicators, membrane applications, further enhancing design versatility and maneuverability for design engineers developing miniature electronic devices. Available in blue (470nm), green (525nm & 571nm), yellow (589nm), orange (605nm), and red (631nm), this vibrant and low power consumption device operates under current as low as 1mA and meets industrial temperature ratings of -40C to +85C. The distinctive package further provides a remarkable zener diode option (part number APG1608PBAZC-RV & APG1608VGAZC-RV) to withstand ESD voltage up to 8000V and provide superior protection against ESD (ElectroStatic Discharge) damages at the production line.
