Simple Support Frame Bulk Bag Dischargers Offered By Spiroflow Systems For Free Flowing Material
CHARLOTTE, NORTH CAROLINA -- A simple Type 1 Support Frame Bulk Bag Dischargers that supports the weight of the bag for safe, secure and controlled discharge of free flowing product is available from Spiroflow Systems.
The Type 1 Support Frame accommodates most types and sizes of Bulk Bag (Flexible Intermediate Bulk Container) and can easily controlled by a single operator. According to Spiroflow Systems, to use the Type 1 Support Frame, the product discharged has to be completely free flowing without the use of flow aids and has to be dust free. "Choke feeding" is the usual way to control the discharge of the Bulk Bag contents into the conveyor or collection hopper.
The robust Type 1 Bulk Bag Dischargers are constructed of either epoxy painted carbon steel or stainless steel, depending on customer requirements. It's standard to load the bulk bags onto the frame by lift truck. A variation, the Type 1/6 is available as an option that includes an integral hoist.
Product Details
The standard Type 1 Bulk Bag Discharger consists of a hanging frame and a lifting frame that is proof load tested. Depending on the application, Spiroflow also offers a range of accessories including collection hoppers and a liner retention clamp.
The handing frame has four corner posts and a self-supporting frame with support brackets for durability. The support brackets adjust to suit bag sizes of up to a 6 feet tall. Taller bags can be accommodated using longer supports when required.
The loops of a bulk bag easily hook over the corners of the welded lifting frame that is used to position the bag in the discharger. The frame also supports the bag during discharge of its contents.
