Master Chemical Introduces Newest Yellow Bellied Sump Sucker

November 19, 2004 (Perrysburg, Ohio) - Master Chemical Corporation has introduced the newest product in its hard-working Yellow Bellied Sump Sucker line, the Li'l Sucker(tm). Designed and engineered based on extensive customer input, this is the smallest of all their tough, durable machine sump vacuums. David Semersky, Vice President and General Manager of the Systems Equipment Division said, "We started with a clean sheet of paper for this newest sump sucker. We asked our customers what they liked about the Yellow Bellied Sump Suckers, and what they didn't like. We also asked what did not appear to add value to the previous designs, and what they would change. What emerged was the Yellow Bellied Sump Sucker that customers designed - the Li'l Sucker." The design is perfect for today's smaller machine tool sumps. The tank capacity is only 50 gallons, yet large enough to handle the average sump on today's newer machine tools. The Li'l Sucker is also powerful with its 120 VAC, single phase, 50 Hz/60 Hz motor. The average suction rate is 85 GPM, and average discharge rate is 40 GPM. It is also powerful enough to reach the upper tank of Master Chemical's popular XYBEX® Recycling Systems. An air venturi version is also available. The chip basket holds approximately 1.6 cubic feet of chips (roughly 12 gallons) when full. A fitted polypropylene liner provides 50-micron nominal filtration while vacuuming fluids from the sump. When vacuuming is complete, safely and easily remove the chip basket from the machine with a hoist to discard the collected chips and swarf. Semersky also said, "This machine fits a market that other manufacturers attempt to reach with machines like wet/dry vacuums, drum top vacuums, and air powered units. We outperform them all. The other types of machines seldom can vacuum out both chips and coolant from a machine, and even fewer have some form of filtration to separate chips from the fluid when vacuuming. None has the durability of the Li'l Sucker. The tank has a 10-year warranty against tank leaks." "Best of all," Semersky said, "this machine is very affordable. The Li'l Sucker pays for itself in as little as three to four months based on reduced machine downtime, prevention of lost production, and reduced machine cleanout labor. It's a winner that is perfect for today's smaller machine tool sumps." Master Chemical Corporation was founded on November 13, 1951. Since then, working closely with the worldwide metalworking community, Master Chemical Corporation has developed and marketed a full line of specialty cutting and grinding fluids, cutting oils, concentrated washing and cleaning compounds, and rust preventatives all under the TRIM* Brand trademark. These products are both environmentally sound and when used in conjunction with Master's XYBEX* Coolant Recycling and Filtration Systems, are the most durable and stable products available anywhere today.
