Series FBLT Submersible Level Transmitter features PTFE-coated FKM fluoroelastomer diaphragm that resists sticking and aggressive fluids. Narrow body, manufactured with 316 stainless steel, enables unit to fit into stilling wells and narrow spaces, while diaphragm cavity is filled with gel to prevent leakage. Included cable has ventilation tube that compensates for changes in atmospheric pressure above fluid. Product is also lightning and surge protected for use in harsh applications.

NEW Series FBLT Flush Diaphragm Submersible Level Transmitter
Mercoid Division of Dwyer Instruments, Inc., the preferred source for your complete range of practical and affordable instrumentation, is announcing the release of its NEW SERIES FBLT FLUSH DIAPHRAGM SUBMERSIBLE LEVEL TRANSMITTER.
The Series FBLT Submersible Level Transmitter is designed with a flush diaphragm to prevent clogging in harsh applications such as sewage lift stations. Its narrow body design fits easily into stilling wells and narrow installations. The robust diaphragm is of a PTFE coated FKM fluoroelastomer that is stick resistant and resilient in aggressive fluids. The diaphragm cavity is filled with a gel that will not leak when compared to competitor units that use oil or grease. The body of the FBLT is constructed of 316 SS with a cable of either polyurethane or ETFE for added corrosive resistance, making it perfect for a wide range of applications such as sewage lift stations, industrial slurries, industrial sumps, landfill leachate, reservoirs, sludge pits, oil tanks, and many more.
This unit measures the height of the liquid above the position that it is mounted in a tank or pit in reference to atmospheric pressure. A ventilation tube in the cable automatically compensates for changes in atmospheric pressure above the fluid. This vent is protected with a maintenance free filter, eliminating particulate or water droplets from entering the transmitter. For additional protection against humidity, the new, A-297 Desiccant Filter can be attached to the vent tube. This desiccant filter is supplied with reusable desiccant that changes color with saturation level. The FBLT incorporates lighting and surge protection allowing it to stand up in harsh applications. As an added convenience, an optional NPT connection allows the unit to be rigidly installed in a pipe/conduit or to be attached to our A-625 Cable Hanger, hanging loop for sturdiness when using a chain to pull the unit out of the installation.
