October 21, 2003 - SmoothCut™ PTO grinder models SG-26 and SG-36 cut from 18 in. above ground to 10 in. below with swing arc of 45° and max horizontal cut of 28 or 33 in. Both models feature replaceable, carbide-tipped, bolt-in cutting teeth and hardened bushings and grease zerks at major pivot points. SureFoot™ stabilizer bar provides solid footing during operation, and rubber deflector helps control debris during grinding.

Worksaver Announces New Smoothcut™ PTO Powered Stump Grinders
New for 2004, Worksaver (Litchfield, IL) introduces SmoothCut™ PTO powered stump grinders. The Model SG-26 and Model SG-36 will be available in limited numbers late 2003 and in full production in 2004. These grinders cut from 18" above ground to 10" below with a swing arc of 45 degrees and a maximum horizontal cut of 28 or 33 inches. Both models feature; durable, replaceable carbide-tipped bolt-in cutting teeth, harden bushings in major pivot points provided increased reliability, grease zerks at major pivot points are standard. SureFoot™ stabilizer bar provides solid footing during operation. Standard rubber deflector helps control chips and debris during grinding. The SmoothCut welded two-piece cutting wheel, delivers higher productivity with it's unique tooth pattern design that produces a smoother cutting action, a parking stand for easy storage is provided. The SmoothCut stump grinders were first displayed at the 2003 Farm Progress Show in Vermilion County, IL.
