September 27, 2004 - Stroboscope measures speed of rotating or cycling linear motion without contact or reflective tape and visually freezes motion. With measuring range up to 120,000 fpm/rpm, unit uses solid-state LED light source and stores and records data in memory. Strobe has external trigger input and output and is tripod mountable. Suited for speed, motion, and vibration analysis of products such as rotating shafts, fans, and cams, it operates up to 10 hr, continuously, using AA battery.
