Unique to the Grip-Tite design, the connectors have a two-piece internal design featuring a nylon gripper coupled with a neoprene grommet that yield unparalleled pullout protection and a true moisture-proof seal. Suitable for NEMA 4 enclosures and other wet locations, Grip-Tite connectors are rated liquidtight/oiltight/raintight, making them an excellent choice for marinas, outdoors and washdown areas, as well as Division 2 hazardous locations.
Grip-Tite connectors are designed to allow a cord or cable to be installed without disassembly of the fitting. Its ultra-slim profile means closer spacing between connectors. The Grip-Tite connector body and gland nut are quality built from malleable iron with a protective zinc electroplate finish.
