Product Description: Heyco Lay-In Lockit Strain-Relief Bushings
are designed for split housing openings, or slot style mounting holes, and to accommodate round or flat, individual or bundled, cable with diameters up to .600 in. (15.2 mm).
Heyco Lay-In Lockit Strain-Relief Bushings self-lock in an instant onto cables, without tools, independent of housing insertion. Components can be preassembled to save time and cost.
Construction & Finishes: Heyco Lay-In Lockit Strain-Relief Bushings are molded in Heyco's own state-of-the-art U.S. plant of high-impact Type 6/6 nylon. They conform to ASTM standard D-4066-PA111, have a flammabiIity classification of 94V-2 and can withstand temperatures up to 125° C. Lockits are UL listed under file #1 5331 and CUL listed under file #LR8919.
Heyco uses a color concentrate injection-molded directly into the nylon, creating uniform and consistent "solid" colored parts. All Lay-In Lockit Strain-Relief Bushings are available from stock in black or white; custom or matched colors available upon request. Lockits have been awarded US Patent Number 5,243,149 for unique design and functionality.
