EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn., Oct. 16 -- Xiotech® Corporation today announced Magnitude® 750, a user-installable and maintainable iSCSI storage area network (SAN) system. With capacity up to 12 terabytes, dual and single controller configurations and advanced storage management functions, Magnitude 750 is a cost-effective choice for departmental and remote applications that currently rely on direct-attached or network-attached storage systems.
Magnitude 750 requires little or no prior storage system expertise to deploy or operate, while still providing the functionality and capabilities that experienced administrators demand. The Magnitude 750 administration software, ICON Manager, allows storage to be managed in the context of servers and applications, allowing consolidation and simplification of provisioning and management tasks from a single console.
