Designed for maximum hardware compatibility with current SAS or SATA host based HBAs, the EnhanceRACK MS series come with the latest Mini-SAS SFF8088 host interface and is integrated with SAS/SATA II hard disks compatible backplanes in order to take advantage of high reliability SAS disks or high capacity SATA disks. It comes standard on EnhanceRACK rackmount enclosure of fan-failed LED and alarm with mute button, individual power & status LED indicators for each drive bay, and native internal Mini-SAS system architecture. The EnhanceRACK R8 MS is a 2U 8-disk rackmount storage system that drives the data transfer rate up to 550MB/sec on RAID-0 and 400MB/sec on RAID-5, and can be configured either as a JBOD or as a host bus adaptor (HBA) card dependent RAID storage. With all key internal components being hot-swappable and redundant, the R8 MS ensures data protection and delivery to keep business-critical applications running smoothly.
