Featuring anodized aluminum heat exchanger, gas condenser, compact air cooled module, and hermetically sealed stainless steel case, SGC-4900 Stirling Gas Cooler removes moisture from process gas samples prior to gas analysis. Water vapor is removed by cooling flue gas sample as it passes through 2 condensers in series. While first condenser is air cooled, second is actively cooled with FPSC (Free Piston Stirling Cooler) module. Gas path features corrosion resistant materials.

Apex Introduces the New SGC-4900 Stirling Gas Cooler
Featuring the Stirling Advantage
Protect your CEMS Analyzers with the New Apex Instruments SGC-4900 Stirling Gas Cooler. The SGC-4900 Stirling Gas Cooler is specifically designed for removing moisture from process gas samples prior to gas analysis. The SGC-4900 Stirling Gas Cooler uses an innovative FPSC (Free Piston Stirling Cooler) which has only two moving parts. Water vapor is removed by quickly cooling the flue gas sample as it passes through two condensers in series. The first condenser is air cooled and the second condenser is actively cooled with the FPSC module. The cold finger side of the FPSC is inserted directly into the anodized aluminum heat exchanger which surrounds the gas condenser. The compact air cooled module is hermetically sealed in a stainless steel case. No piping for the environmental friendly helium refrigerant is required. Gas path features corrosion resistant materials.
