March 11, 2013 - With selectable step resolutions from Full stepping to 256x microstepping, Model R325P is capable of stepping typical 1.8° motor over 51,000 steps per revolution. Driver provides output currents from 0.3–3.0 A peak while handling +12 to 48 Vdc of input voltage. Unit features current reduction capability with adjustable current and timeout settings, 3 optically isolated inputs, and 1 optically isolated control output that can be used for step, direction, disable/enable, and fault detection.

Compact, Powerful and Cost Effective, It's the R325P Stepper Motor Driver from Lin Engineering


Morgan Hill, California - Lin Engineering is pleased to announce the release of the new R325P; an updated version of the popular R325 stepper driver product. Combining compact size with high performance, the R325P can be utilized with stepper motors of many shapes and sizes.

The R325P microstepping driver is capable of output currents ranging from 0.3 to 3.0 amps peak while handling +12 to 48VDC of input voltage. With selectable step resolutions from Full stepping to 256x microstepping, the R325P stepper driver is capable of stepping a typical 1.8 degree motor over 51,000 steps per revolution! The R325P also boasts current reduction capability with adjustable current and timeout settings and three optically isolated inputs and one optically isolated control output that can be used for step, direction, disable/enable, and fault detection. One of the biggest advantages of the R325P is its ease of use; with on-board DIP switches, there is no need to connect this device to a computer making set-up quick and simple.

For those users requiring an Indexer, the R325PE is also available. The R325PE can be configured via RS485 and comes with software, LinControl, at no cost. Along with the capability of various velocity moves, the R325PE also has an encoder input.
