Steel Drive-On Pads Meet EPA and OSHA Regulations

A new system of secondary hazardous materials containment through the use of mobile heavy galvanized steel drive-on pads with sumps has been developed by FPI, Costa Mesa, CA. The system avoids the costs and time associated with engineering concrete pads.

The DOCS™ (for Drive on Containment System) meets all EPA and OSHA regulations. The racks are designed for use by tanker trucks, as a decontamination station, a wash rack, a fueling pod, a hot refueling station or other installations that could be subject to liability arising from soil and ground water contamination. No add on oil/water separator system is needed. The units incorporate a point-of-source control with a state of the art filtration system that complies with EPA storm water regulations.

There are seven standard models. ranging in size from 436 square feet drive-on space with 2130gallon sump capacity to 1440 square feet with 6417gallon capacity. Other configurations are available to meet specific uses. Units can be moved about as desired, unlike concrete installations. No assembly is required.

For additional information about the DOCS™ system, contact FPI at 151 Kalmus Drive, Suite A-202,Costa Mesa, CA 92626. 800-552-8783, FAX 714-513-2111, or check the web site at www.fpidocs.com.
