Available in ½, ¾, and 1 in. ID sizes, Steam Slayer(TM) combines specially blended chlorobutyl tube with high-tensile steel wire reinforcement and EPDM cover. Hose withstands more than 2,000 hours of saturated steam at 407°F, making it suited for cleaning, processing, and melting glues and waxes. Three color options include red and black barber pole stripe, red with yellow ink transfer layline, and black covered hose.

Diversified industrial manufacturer Eaton Corporation today announced a new line of steam hose that was engineered to provide maximum safety while delivering unmatched levels of performance. Eaton's new Steam Slayer hose combines a specially blended chlorobutyl tube with high-tensile steel wire reinforcement and an Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer (EPDM) cover to produce a hose with a 10:1 burst safety factor.

Side by side testing shows Steam Slayer hoses are superior to other steam hoses. Steam Slayer withstands more than 2,000 hours of saturated steam at 407°F. That's more than twice as long as the competitive hoses tested.
Steam Slayer is available in ½", ¾" and 1" ID sizes. Three color options are offered including the traditional red and black barber pole stripe, a red with yellow ink transfer layline and a black covered hose.
