July 29, 2003 - Bond-Rite and Bond-Rite Remote are 9 V battery-operated, self-contained, static ground verification systems. Each unit continuously monitors condition of static ground connection between object to be grounded and known high integrity ground. Flashing green LED verifies clamp connection and low resistance ground loop. Bond-Rite houses all electronics inside 316 SS clamp, while Bond-Rite Remote houses all electronics in stainless steel wall mountable box.

Static Grounding System Enhances Plant Safety
Bond-Rite and Bond-Rite Remote are 9V battery operated, self-contained, static ground verification systems. Each unit continuously monitors the condition of the static ground connection between the object to be grounded and a known "high integrity" ground. A flashing green LED light verifies the clamp connection and low resistance ground loop. The system is used whenever the possibility of a small static spark may ignite flammable vapors, gases, or dust atmospheres, as in drumming operations and the loading / unloading of road tankers, railcars, and barges.
Bond-Rite houses all of the electronics inside a 316 SS clamp and includes 16' of Hytrel coiled cable wire with two connector leads. This unit is very popular with the pharmaceutical industry. Bond-Rite Remote houses all of the electronics in a stainless steel wall mountable box with two connector leads. 16' of Hytrel coiled cable with a hand clamp provides the connection to the item requiring grounding. A detachable wall-mounting bracket enables the unit to be easily removed from the hazardous area for a battery change. The flashing green LED is positioned in front of the enclosure, together with an insulated stowage point for safe return of the clamp when not in use. The Bond-Rite Systems are FM Approved and are the only systems provided with a self-contained, battery operated, power source. All other systems are field wired in place. The advantages of the self-contained power supply are lower initial cost, far less installation costs, and portability for use in multiple areas.
