BEX Spray Nozzles Introduces its new JPL Series of Air Atomizing Spray Nozzles

BEX® JPL Air Atomizing Spray Nozzles use compressed air or gas to produce an accurately controlled liquid dispersion in applications where a conventional liquid spray nozzle would not be suitable. Such applications include humidification, cooling, air pollution control, coating processes, lubrication, curing, and chemical dispersion.

Components and setups
A standard BEX "JPL" assembly consists of seven components that fit together to produce an atomized spray pattern. Two of those components, the "JP" Air Cap and the "JL" Liquid Nozzle, determine spray pattern and liquid/air flow rates. BEX offers these components in a wide range of set-ups to simplify the task of finding the appropriate nozzle for a given application. In internal mix set-ups, liquid and gas are mixed inside the nozzle to produce a completely atomized spray for such uses as dust control, pesticide application, humidification, cooling, coating and low-viscosity fluids. These set-ups are available in round, wide-angle round and flat spray patterns. In external mix set-ups, liquid atomization is controlled by varying the air pressure without changing the liquid pressure. This set-up features flat spray patterns and are effective for higher viscosity liquids and abrasive suspensions.

BEX "JPL" series nozzles and components are available in 303 stainless steel, 316 stainless steel and nickel-plated (on visible surfaces) brass. A full compliment of special body connections, wall mounts, shut-off needles, and automatic body styles are also available.
