Parker Introduces 782TC and 782ST Spiral Hoses for Abrasive Applications

WICKLIFFE, OHIO, November 12, 2001 - Parker Hannifin Corporation's Hose Products Division introduces its 782TC and 782ST spiral hoses. The SAE 100R13/EN856 Type R13 hoses have been designed for critical applications in the construction, forestry, agriculture, and mining industries, and are particularly appropriate for use in articulating equipment.

Part of Parker's newly expanded family of abrasion-resistant hoses, Parker 782TC and 782ST allow you to choose your level of abrasion resistance and match the hose to the job. The MSHA-accepted Tough Cover of 782TC makes the multiple-spiral hose a
standout for both 5,000 psi and 6,500 psi (-10 size) use. While the Super Tough cover of 782ST makes it the hose of choice for extreme abrasion applications.

Both hoses feature an oil-resistant high-Nitrile inner tube for exceptional hydraulic fluid compatibility, and are easily identified by a highly visible red layline. They are engineered to save hose, time, and money with extended use.

Parker's 782TC and 782ST hoses are compatible with Parker's one-piece 78 Series Monoblok(TM) fittings. Manufactured from a single piece of steel, 78 Series fittings eliminate potential leak paths and are available in multiple end connections, including SAE Code 62 flange and Seal-Lok®.
