New Spindle Actuators from Serapid Complement Wide Range of Mechanical Actuators

SERAPID, Inc, a leader in horizontal and vertical transfer through use of our Rigid Chain Technology, now offers a new line of spindle actuators. The electric mechanical spindle actuators complement the wide range of Rigid Chain mechanical actuators the company already offers.

While Rigid Chain actuators are best used with long strokes, heavy loads and in harsh environments, the spindle actuators are specifically designed for smaller load capacities and lower cycles. They are particularly effective for lifting or pulling loads in environments with no space constraints.

The new actuators feature strokes up to 1500 mm, a push/pull force of 5660 N, and a speed of 25 mm/second. They are maintenance free, are powered with a 24VDC motor, and have an electronic controlled emergency stop. There is a cut off at either end position using integrated limit switches. The mounting is also fully adjustable.

The housing is made of anodized aluminum and the pushrod is made of either aluminum or steel. A number of sizes of the actuators are available depending on motor size, stroke, transmission ratio, spindle diameters and control current needed.

For more information about these new actuators, or any other actuators SERAPID offers, visit their web site: www.serapid.us, or call 800-663-4514.
