July 17, 2003 - MicroSpec™ imaging spectrometers feature USB communication and choice of 150, 300, and 500 mm focal lengths. Manual or motorized entrance slits operate from 10 microns to 12 mm wide, and offer full 12 mm image height. Mirror position in grating turret allows for large aperture, direct imaging to Roper Scientific CCD cameras. Wide choice of gratings and accessories enable Single Cell, Micro-Raman, Dispersive Fluorescence, FRET and other micro-spectroscopy applications.

Spectrometers for Microscopes

Acton Research’s MicroSpec™ series of imaging spectrometers provides easy direct coupling to many microscopes, USB communication, a choice of 150mm, 300mm and 500mm focal lengths, and a wide range of software. MicroSpec’s unique interchangeable optical aperture enables superior imaging and throughput balance. Manual or motorized entrance slits operate from 10 microns to 12mm wide, and offer a full 12mm image height. A mirror position in the grating turret allows for high quality, large aperture direct imaging to Roper Scientific CCD cameras.
